AVILON Wildlife Conservation Foundation is a non-profit organization that is committed to significantly contribute to Philippine wildlife conservation efforts through education and ex situ species preservation programs. AVILON Wildlife Conservation Foundation is an internationally recognized and accredited zoological institution in the Philippines and is a member of the Southeast Asian Zoos Association (SEAZA), a regional organization member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA). The foundation currently runs AVILON ZOO in Rodriguez, Rizal and ARK AVILON ZOO in Pasig City.
AVILON ZOO has successfully bred the Gray's Monitor Lizard (Varanus olivaceus) or "Butaan" in captivity. The first documented V. olivaceus successfully hatched and reared in captivity was a female named “Grasya”. The successful hatching was featured in ANIMAL PLANET’s “BUTAAN: The Lost Dragon”.
Tiendesitas
Tiendesitas ("a collection of little stores") is a shopping complex located along the C-5 road in Manila. It began its operations on September 26, 2005 and was developed by Ortigas & Co. Limited Partnership (OCLP). It rivals the highly successful and world-renowned Chatuchak Market of Bangkok. Constructed at a cost of P200 million, Tiendesitas is a part of Frontera Verde, an interim 18.5 hectare Ortigas Center development project. The complex offers more than 300 parking slots, and is served by jeepneys on C-5 and by buses which stop a short walk from the Tiendesitas gate.
Tiendesitas offerings include native food, fashion wear and accessories, furniture, antiques, handicrafts, personal care and novelty items, pets, plants, and other Philippine–made products. Tiendesitas complements the "WOW! Philippines" tourism campaign initiated by former Tourism Secretary Richard Gordon. It also meets the focus of the second phase of the Department of Trade campaign which is shopping and food. At the opening were members of the Ortigas family; Rex Drilon, COO-OCLP; Joey Santos, general manager, GSC; Lotta S. Soller, Special leasing and Marketing manager, GSC; Henry G. Babiera, CEO, Las Islas and his staff; businessmen entrepreneurs and exhibitors.

Coron is a first class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 32,243 people in 6,264 households.
